    CLASSIC “NOR'EASTER” FORECASTED TO SOCK THE NORTH COUNTRY AFTER CHRISTMAS—The National Weather Service in Burlington predicts at least 6 inches, possibly much more precipitation as the result of a system heading up the east coast expected to stall off New England Wednesday night, combining moisture from the south with cold from Canada. Meteorologist Bob Schiesser told us the numbers are not yet firm; however some websites have predicted 10 inches, plus.

    MOIRA COUPLE JAILED ON FELONIES AFTER MASSENA SHOPLIFTING INCIDENT—Village Police picked up 28-year-old Marcel Cox of Tupper Street and his 25-year-old girlfriend Haley Wilcox of Route 11 Sunday evening after they tried to make off with thousands of dollars in merchandise to include a TV, X-Box, and wrapping paper. Both were charged with grand larceny, misdemeanor drug counts, and marijuana violations. Both were jailed on 5000 dollars cash bail or 10,000 dollars bail bond.
