COUNTY LEGISLATOR CALLS STATE "A BUNCH OF LYING, THIEVING S.O.B.'S" ON GAMING REVENUE--Joseph Lightfoot of Ogdensburg, speaking in a meeting of the St. Lawrence County Legislature's Economic Enhancement Sub-Committee Wednesday, said he believes the state has more gaming compact revenue than it lets on. The county is considering litigation against the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, and possibly the state, for the release of more than 3-million-dollars in casino revenue that has not been paid. Sub-Committee Chair Sam Burns of Ogdensburg says the missing money is one of the reasons why budget deliberations for 2013 were difficult.
