“FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE ALSO FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS....”--The portion of the Lord's Prayer was expressed last night by Knapps Station Community Church Pastor Lee Seeeney, uncle of Garrett Phillips, the Potsdam boy murdered one year ago yesterday. Philips's killer has yet to be caught. Sweeney said in opening reflections before a "Justice For Garrett" concert organized by Potsdam High School Senior Troy O'Brien that he forgives the person who took Garrett's life, the same way be believes Garrett has. Brian Phillips, also Phillips's uncle and the organizer of the “Justice For Garrett” reward fund set up as an incentive for the child's killer to be caught and prosecuted, told 99 News last night there are more than 2-thousand “Justice For Garrett” signs, some as far away as the Saratoga region and nearby Canada. About 40-thousand-dollars was in the reward fund as of last night.
