CANTON TOWN PLANNERS COMMIT TO SUPPORT AGRICULTURE—The Planning Board told members of the public gathered for an input session Tuesday they will forward the Town Council recommendations to revise code, so that non-domestic animals and larger garden would be allowed in residential zoning areas. Planners took nearly an hour-and-a-half of public comments blasting previously-proposed changes of some rurally-zoned parcels to commercial; farmers say would eventually zone them out.
