HEUVELTON WOMAN AIRLIFTED TO SYRACUSE AFTER ROUTE 37 CRASH—State Police in Ogdensburg say 24-year-old Kendra Young received serious injuries when the west-bound vehicle she was driving was rear-ended as she was attempting to turn into the Parkway Country Store near Red Mills about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. Young was flown by helicopter to Upstate Medical Center; the extent of her injuries was not recorded in the police blotter. The driver of the following car, received minor abrasions and was ticketed for following too closely.
