    MASSENA MAN HELD FOR WEAPON-RELATED BURGLARY—Village Police arrested 22-year-old Justin Mendies about 11:50 last night after he allegedly forced his way into the residence of a former girlfriend, and threatened her with what police described as a “rectangular, bar-shaped object.” Mendies awaits arraignment before a Village Justice later today on felony counts of second degree weapon possession and first degree burglary, and several other lesser counts to include harassment.

    NOWOOD DOMESTIC DISPUTE LEADS TO FELONY ARREST—37-year-old Daniel Bradish of Sisson Road in Potsdam allegedly damaged a woman's vehicle to the tune of 250-dollars-plus on Sunday. He was charged with third degree criminal mischief, then released to probation.
