NUMBERS REVEAL HIGH-TECH JOBS NOT GROWING, DEVELOPING AT FULL POTENTIAL IN POTSDAM—The Village Comprehensive Plan Committee learned from data in the results of its community survey that high-tech jobs are what people want the most; the top priority being assistance with maintaining and improving spaces to have a business. Committee members agreed word about the incubator recently opened by Clarkson University for high-tech has not gotten around like it should and that is potential not being used to its fullest. Also noted by the committee is the desire for that kind of work by people 65 and over—an indication the economy is such that people are forced to work well after the traditional retirement age.
