COMMUNITY SURVEY RESULTS SKEW OLDER, BRING SURPRISES--The SUNY Potsdam Center for Applied Research presented the Potsdam Village Comprehensive Plan Committee the results of the survey it distributed in January to about 24-hundred households--including both college campuses. 32 percent of respondents gave their age as 65-plus. Committee members found interesting that people in the senior age group asked for more outdoor recreation opportunities, especially for walking; and expressed great interest in boosting the Farmer's Market. Also a surprise is that seniors usually past the traditional working years listed job creation and development as top concerns.
