TOWN PLANNERS WANT “HIGHWAY VIEW” RENDERING OF PROPOSED ALDI'S—Members of the Potsdam Town Planning Board asked developers Tuesday for the proposed grocery next door to Tractor Supply on Route 11 to provide something showing what the store will actually look like from the road, to include landscaping and other aspects. The project manager for the developer says the cost would be about 2-thousand-dollars for what planner Clarence “Ken” Ward requested; planner Mario Pusateri says it doesn't have to be elaborate, even a sketch so the board has a rough clue where things would be. The Board cannot make any decisions on the Aldi project until a determination of Lead Agency Status for the State Environmental Quality Review is made.
