99 NEWS HEADLINES FOR FRIDAY, 12/5/08 MASSENA WOMAN PERISHES IN CRASH, DWI ARREST MADE--State Police in Massena say 66-year-old Shirley Blair received fatal injuries Thursday night when her vehicle backing up onto County Route 37 was struck by a vehicle on the road, driven by 47-year-Shari Hartigan of Route 420. hartigan was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated; no further details were available this morning. FORMER NURSING HOME ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR BUSTED FOR EMBEZZLING FROM RESIDENTS--Village Police in Gouverneur say 50-year-old Peggy Mc.Gill of Star Lake was recently charged with numerous felony and misdemeanor counts, including forgery alleging she lifted thousands of dollars in patient account money. Mc.Gill was arraigned, pled not guilty and was released pending future court dates. ALLEGED NORWOOD EMBEZZLER INDICTED--A St. Lawrence County Grand Jury has indicted 35-year-old Penny Boardway of Norwood on felony grand larceny, alleging she skimmed over 9-thousand dollars from Perry's Big M by voiding sales at the cash registers.
