DRAINAGE IN THE FORMER ST.MARY'S SCHOOL NEIGHBORHOOD A SERIOUS CONCERN FOR POTSDAM VILLAGE PLANNERS—Members of the Potsdam Village Planning Board said last night the area could become “a mess” without proper stormwater mitigation measures. This, in response to Canton-Potsdam Hospital being told it must go through another site plan review for its Lawrence Avenue campus upgrades. Canton-Potsdam engineer Randy VanBrocklin assured the Planners the project will not proceed beyond foundation work until the Army Corps of Engineers and State DEC give the go-ahead. Planners forced the issue when they learned the site plan they approved last year for the project was not being followed.
