A five goal bust in the second period lifts the Sandstoners to a key D-I victory over the Shamrocks.
Cory Garrow and Devon Crary stopped everything they faced in the first period. However it was Potsdam who finally all broke through in the second against with a barrage of goals. Trevor Keleher finished off a tight pass from Chad Varney 5:12 into the period. The eventual game winner came off the stick of Logan ford under three minutes later.
The back breaker came on a break away tallu by robbie Scott which the Stoners a 3-0 lead. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Max Warden on the power play later on and assisted on Josh Locey's only one of the game just 16 seconds later with under a minute to play.
Thomas Roundpoint broke the shut out late in the third period as Devon Crary halted 18 shots in the win. Cory Garrow 22 stopped 22 for the Shamrocks,
