The Red Raiders stop the Stoners late and pull away in a central division battle.
Massena led by two after one quarter on a Alisha Jacobs steal and bucket tht made the 17-15. Potsdam down six in the second came back to tie the game at 27-27 on a Taylor Bonno lay up. The Raiders ended up scoring the last seven of the first half as Jacobs led all players with 15 points.
Massena extended the lead to eight late in the third on a Dominque Valencious three pointer and clinged to a five point lead late in the fourth as the Raiders scored the last five points of the game to close out the scoring.
PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Marissa Manley scored eight in the fourth quarter including going 6 for 6 from the charity stripe in the game, scoring 18 points in all. She also pulled down 13 rebounds. Jacobs scored 24 including notching five three pointers.
EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Shanielle Chambers scored 24 points and had three steals. Taylor Bonno scored 14 and Bre Sapp ten for Potsdam.
