Norwood-Norfolk worked hard on the fore check in earning the first two goals of the game scored by PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Zeb Brown, Brown took a pass from behind the goal and buried the first of the game from the slot and the swept in and scored the game winner at 8:33 of the first.
Troy Kovach knocked home an insurance marker in the second as the Icemen did not let up pumping 42 shots on 8th grader Joey Brown.
In the third a parade to the penalty nox finally caught up to Norwood-Norfolk as at 12:07 Malone's Kelsey Head scored on a slap shot to close the gap to two. The Huskies pulled the goalie with under two minutes to go but were unable to score as Brandon Richards stopped 14 in the third period in a 25 save performance.
Austin Cousineau added three assists as Joey Brown halted 39 shots for Malone.
