MOIRA COUPLE JAILED ON FELONIES AFTER MASSENA SHOPLIFTING INCIDENT—Village Police picked up 28-year-old Marcel Cox of Tupper Street and his 25-year-old girlfriend Haley Wilcox of Route 11 Sunday evening after they tried to make off with thousands of dollars in merchandise from the Massena Wal-Mart to include a TV, X-Box, and wrapping paper. Both were charged with grand larceny, misdemeanor drug counts, and marijuana violations. Both were jailed on 5000 dollars cash bail or 10,000 dollars bail bond.
HELENA COUPLE HOMELESS AFTER SATURDAY FIRE—Investigators say a chimney fire spread into the walls at the residence of Jack and Dori Odel on County Route 55. The old farm-house was not insured; the American Red Cross was called to help.
