12-18-12 11:04am--Bomb Threat at Potsdam Central School |
|
From Potsdam School Superintendent Patrick Brady: "This morning at approximately 7:25 am, Potsdam High School received a bomb threat. The Potsdam PD were immediately contacted and the state police were called to bring in bomb sniffing dogs. The students and staff were taken to a safe place within the building and at approximately 9:40 am the school was cleared and the students were returned to classes. The police are investigating the matter and hopefully will be able to find the person(s) who perpetrated this hoax. I want to thank the law enforcement officers for their quick response a well as the administration and staff who successfully implemented our emergency plan."
