COLTON-PIERREPONT 57, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 15

The Colts sprint their way to the first win of the season over the Panthers. 

Scoring he first 12 points of the game and dishing out a stiff full court press, Colton-Pierrepont mounted a 32-8 halftime lead.  EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME Bruce Avery scored six first quarter points, tallying eight in all and pulling down six rebounds.

A balanced scoring attack was led by Brent Hoyt who scored 12 and pulled down nine rebounds.  PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Scott Boyce managed 10 point and four steals.  Zack Farr also scored ten.

COLTON-PIERREPONT 21, PARISHVILLE-HOPKINTON 15

The Lady Colts grind out a league win over the Panthers in their home opener.

Scoring was at a premium as the Colts led 12-4 at halftime going on a 7-0 run in the first half.

Leading by as much as 19-9 in the fourth quarter, Parishville-Hopkinton went on a 6-0 run to close the gap to 19-15. 

However a late fourth quarter bucket by PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Autumn Clark sealed the win as her and EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NIALS PLAYER OF THE GAME Morgan Doyle led the Colts with six points.  Both players secured nine rebounds.

The Panthers were led by Caitlin McGregor's six points.

Isabella Esposito, Clarkson, Liberty League Basketball Rookie of the Week

Isabella Esposito scored 17 points and added 11 rebounds in a 65-43 victory over Cazenovia. Her performance came in just 19 minutes of action, in which she also added a pair of assists and a block.


Jacob Fredericks, St. Lawrence, Liberty League Indoor Track Performer of the Week
Jacob Fredericks won the 60 hurdles in 8.77 seconds and ran on the winning 4x200 relay team which ran 1:33.50 at the Saint Holiday Relays.


Connor Rockhill, St. Lawrence, Liberty League Indoor Track Rookie of the Week
Connor Rockhill won the pole vault with a 4.10 meter jump, was fifth in the high jump at 1.83 meters and ran on the second place 4x400 relay team at the Saint Holiday Relays.


Ella Martin, St. Lawrence, Liberty League Indoor Track Performer of the Week
St. Lawrence University freshman Ella Martin won the mile in a meet-record time of 5:12.15 and the 3,000-meter in a meet-record time of 10:24.45 to help the Saints to the team title in the Saints Holiday Relays


Marissa Turner, St. Lawrence, Liberty League Indoor Track Rookie of the Week
St. Lawrence University freshman Marissa Turner won the high jump at the Saint Holiday Relays with a meet and St. Lawrence record jump of 1.68 meters.


Izzy Fayerman, Potsdam, ECAC West Player of the Week
Fayerman scored in each of the Bears three games this week. Fayerman scored the game-tying
goal in Potsdam’s 2-2 draw with Saint Michael’s on Friday. She then notched the game-winner
in the Bears’ 3-1 win over the Purple Knights on Saturday.
