NO BIDS FOR "JET-A" PROJECT AT DAMON FIELD--Potsdam Trustees were told by Village Administrator David Fenton Monday there were no takers on the approximately 60-thousand-dollar installation of the fuel tanks and pumps at the Municipal Airport. Fenton says the size of the project being relatively small, and the fact contractors are busy with other projects contribute to that lack of bids. Air Methods, the helicopter medi-vac service that started its Potsdam depot at Damon Field earlier this year wants the fuel on-site so it does not have to be trucked in. The Village wants to make money off the fuel.
