Clarkson's Howe Named ECACHL Goalie of the Week for Third Time |

Erica Howe, Clarkson, ECACHL Women's Goalie of the Week
Howe backstopped 3rd-ranked Clarkson to another weekend sweep as the Golden Knights improved to 6-0 in ECAC Hockey play. She allowed just two goals (one being a penalty-shot score) on 59 shots in the two weekend games. She also matched her season high for saves in a game with 36 in 4-1 victory at Quinnipiac then followed with 21 stops in 2-1 overtime triumph at Princeton.
POTSDAM EQUESTRIAN SHOWS STRONG SHOWING
The SUNY Potsdam equestrian team finished the 2012 portion of its schedule with strong showings at Cazenovia on Saturday and St. Lawrence on Sunday.
At Cazenovia, the Bears were received first place finishes from senior Michelle Robinson in the intermediate over the fence competion and and freshman Melissa Phelan in novice jumps. Sophomore Alexis Hamilton also had a strong day with second place finishes in the novice jumps and flat events.
At St. Lawrence, sophomores Arielle Chin and Carlene Benson led Potsdam with top finishes in the intermediate flat and advanced walk, trot, canter competitions, respectively. Sophomore Emily Parker finished second in beginner walk, trot, canter and sophomore Ellen Norton posted third place finishes in both the novice jumps and flat events.
