CLASS A FOOTBALL FINAL

POTSDAM 40, MASSENA 0

The Sandstoners cruise their way into the New York State Tournament with a shut out in the Class A Final.

Potsdam forced two turnovers in the first half and scored after a funble recovery when PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME O'den Robertson scored from one yard out to help Potsdam to the early advantage.

Robertson tacked on another score of three yards and scored a two point conversion to lift Potsdam to a 16-0 halftime lead.

Robertson capped off his three touchdown going 28 yards to pay dirt to give the Stoners a 24-0 lead. 

Potsdam was able to stop Massena on a 4th and goal from the three late in the thir quarter, then proceeded to go 97 yards on 11 plays capped off by Shawn Clark's 17 yards reception early in the fourth quarter.  Trevor Keleher finished off the scoring running one in from 20 yards out and added a tow point conversion.

Unofficially, Robertson gained 110 yards on 15 carries.  Kyle Martens was awarded out EVANS AND WHITE TOUGH AS NAILS PLAYER OF THE GAME .  For Massena Jeremiah Reagan carried the ball 13 times for 50 yards.
