Malone and Madrid-Waddington Advance To Jeffers Title Game

The visiting Huskies strike early and an hold off the host Sandstoners in the John Jeffers semi-finals.

Three and a half minute into the game Isia Paredonas buried a close range shot under the cross bar for the eventual game winner.

Potsdam did everything they could to tie the game but PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Austin LeMay held off several chances in goal and made six saves in the shut out.

Aaron Sharlow took a lead pass and went far left post for the insurance marker in the 50th minute. 

Ryan McDonald and Ashler Herrick combined for three saves.  Malone will face Madrid-Waddington in the title game on Saturday

The Yellow Jackets pick up a semi-final triumph over the Colts in the semis of the Jeffers Tourney.

The game winner came from a redirected corner kick that Anthony Zeledon touched home with 1:05 to go in the first half. 

PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME TJ Gagnon stood tall in goal denying Colton-Pierrepont ten times in the win.  Jacob Barney blasted a 25 yard shot for the insurance marker in the second half.

Craig Miller stopped six for the Colts who will face Potsdam in the consolation.
