Haley Clark was taken down on a clear break with two minutes gone in the first overtime setting up a penalty kick that PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Abby Gruineisen buried for the eventual game winner as Potsdam will defend there Jeffers title on Saturday.
Potsdam held on to a 1-0 lead well into the second half on a Kalie Grant goal scored in the 35th minute. The Larries battled and earned a corner kick with under four minutes to go in regulation. Lindsay Thayer sent a left corner kick into the area where Samantha Richards booted the equalizer to send the game into overtime.
Bre Sapp stopped five for Potsdam and Haleigh Agans notched seven saves for the Larries. Potsdam wlll face Madrid-Waddington in final on Saturday.

Blake Orosz connected on the eventual game winner in the 18th minute on a pass from PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Taylor Lenny. Lenny added an insurance marker two minutes later and then Kayleigh Field sent a right wing cross through a forest of players and into the back of the net to finish off a three goal flurry in four minutes.
Shelby Kendall was tested stopping six in the shut out while Kathryn Miller halted five for the Colts.

MYNTER NAMED USCAA SETTER OF THE WEEK Sophomore Mackenzie Mynter has been named the USCAA Setter of the Week.
This is the third time Mynter has received the award in her career and this time was honored after leading SUNY Canton to three straight wins to start the season. The Roos beat Green Mountain College 3-1 and swept Castleton State College 3-0 and Wells College 3-0.
In nine sets Mynter collected 74 assists, 14 service aces, 12 kills, and 11 digs. She handed out 21 assists to go with six aces and three kills against Green Mountain. She then distributed 28 assists and had six kills, five aces and four digs against Castleton and finished the weekend with 25 assists, six digs, three kills, and three aces.
