POTSDAM FEATURED IN NEW TV PROGRAM ABOUT THE RAQUETTE RIVER—WPBS-TV unveiled its new production “The Raquette River Experience” in a special public viewing at Clarkson University  Wednesday, as part of the Raquette River Blueway Corridor “Raquette River Awareness Week” events. Host Don Meissner told the gathering the new show is meant to draw interest in the region as a tourist destination, and as a great place to live. The program is expected to be uploaded to the Watertown Public Television station's website later this week

LOCAL FAIR GOES GLOBAL—Gouverneur-St. Lawrence County Fair Director Don peck told 99 News Wednesday the county Holstein Club “Black and White Day” event on the grounds Saturday will be webcast for a world-wide audience. Peck told us the focus on agriculture this year is stronger than ever; there are many more animals on display this year than usual.
