On Wednesday June 20th, the ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY PADDLERS DUATHLON SERIES RACE, will start atrace 6 p.m with a 5:30pm registration from the Little River boat launch off Park Street, Canton. One paddling leg is about 1.5 miles, two running legs about 1.25 miles each. Entry is free. for more informaon go to www.slvpaddlers.org.
SUNY POTSDAM VOLLEYBALL CAMP
Head Coach Steve Pike and the SUNY Potsdam volleyball program will host a four-day volleyball day camp in Jerry Welsh Gymnasium from Aug. 13-16. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Obtain and strengthen the skills necessary to be a successful high school volleyball player with Coach Pike and his players. Beginning athletes will learn basic skill development and team concepts, while experienced players will focus on game fundamentals and more in-depth strategies.
The total cost of the camp is $99. There will be a one-hour break each day for lunch, which is not provided by the camp. Campers are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.
