The Sandstoners run away with the rubber match against the Golden Bears in the Class C semi-finals.
Potsdam scored the first seven goals within the first 21 minutes of the game as Keeley Rice and Kalie Grant scored two apiece ein the stretch. Canton gained momentum late in the first half scoring two goals in the last forty seconds when Rachael Huntley connected from Allison Noble and Alicia Jones scored far post as time expired to cut the Potsdam lead to five.
The Sandstoners jumped out to a 8-1 run in the second half. The first goal scored by Rice turned out to be her 100th point of the season as cranked out a seven goal performance in the win. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Kaitlyn Bloom made several key saves accumulating eight in the triumph.
Kalie Grant added three goals and Michaela Cole two goals an two helpers.
For Canton, Maddison VanBibber and Katie Lapinski scored second half goals while Megan Howard stopped eight shots.
Potsdsm will face Massena in the Class C Final on Tuesday from SUNY Canton

NORWOOD-NORFOLK 11, TUPPER LAKE 1
The top seeded Flyers cruise to a semi-final win over the Lumberjacks.
Tupper Lake's Jordan Garrow led of the game with a walk, stole two bases, and tried to score stealing home on a suicide squeeze but when the third strike was called on the batter, catcher Gunnar Brown tagged him out for the second out of the inning.
Norwood-Norfolk carried that momentum to their at bats in the bottom of the inning scoring three times. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Brandon Short and Chris Stratton each drove in runs on singles while Troy Kovach started the scoring advancing home on a wild pitch.
Pierson St. Pierre scored on an infield error to cut the lead to two in second. That was before the Flyers busted open the game with a five run third. Chris Prashaw and Kovach double and scored in the inning.
Jordan Lashomb, Cody Smith , and Short combined in a two hitter, striking out 16 through out the contest including ending the game striking out the last seven batters.
Short went 3 for 3 scoring three times and driving in a run. Stratton drove home three runs while Kyle Weems added a double.
Marcus Richer and Nick Bushie provided singles for Tupper Lake.
