The Blue Devils run away with a season sweep of the Red Raiders.
All the runs needed were scored in the second inning when the bottom of the order produced runs. Shannon Tooley singled and scored on a PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME MaKenzie Stevenson single. Jordan Fifield scored on an error and MaKenzie Holland waled and scored on a Brittany Barr ground out.
Up 4-1 in the fifth scored three in the inning as Fifield scored on an error again, Stevenson tripled in a run and Brittany Barr produced a sacrifice fly RBI.
Stevenson went the the distance in a three hitter srtriking out five inclidng executing a 1-2-3 double play to end the fourth with bases loaded and one out. At bat she went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Brittany Barr drove in two runs and Jordan Fifield scored three times.
For Massena, Sierra Streeter struck out 12 in the loss and Marissa Manley scored both runs.
