Canton Wins One Goal Game on Senior Day Over OFA |

The second straight one goal game between the Golden Bears and the Blue Devils came down to the wire with Canton prevailing on Senior Day.
An even first half saw Canton's Alicia Jones and OFA's MacKenzie Bressett score two a piece in the first with the Blue Devils Erica Chase make six first half saves.
In the second half the lead changed hands three times before Rachael Huntley scored on a two on one break with 2;03 to go in regulation to give the Bears a 7-6 lead. Seniors Alicia Jones then scored unassisted at the 1:26 mark to earn Canton their first two goal lead of the game.
Down the stretch PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Megan Howard came up with important saves to halt OFA's chances in a comeback. Molly Morrow did cut the lead to one with 65 seconds to play but that is as close as the Blue Devils would get.
Howard stopped nine in the win while Jones scored three times while Katie Lumbard and Racael Huntley added two goals a piece.
For the Blue Devils Kaitlin Shepard scored three times and added a helper. Molly Morrow produced one goal and two assists. Erica Chase stopped seven in the effort.
