99 NEWS FOR THURSDAY, 5/3/12 MASSENA POLICE MAKE TWO DRUG ARRESTS AT BORDER—Police arrested 35-year-old Leah Benedict of Bombay and 24-year-old Samantha Skidders of Fort Covington in separate calls to the Port of Entry last night. Both were charged with felony counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, alleging their roles in oxycodone deals that occurred in the village this past January. There was no record whether the arrests stem from either the same or separate incidents. Skidders and Benedict were both arraigned before Justice Gerald Sharlow and jailed on 25-thousand-dollars cash bail or 50-thousand-dollars bail bond each. ALSO ONLINE TODAY....
