Potsdam Dominates First Half In Girls Lacrosse Tilt Against Saranac Lake |

The Lady Sandstoners power offense preserves an early league win against the Red Storm.
Potsdam jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first eight minutes as PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Keeley Rice scored twice and produced an assist on Michaela Cole's second goal of the half. Mallory Fisher ended the first half with her second of the game with 14.7 seconds left to build a 7-0 Stoner halftime lead.
Saranac Lake got as close as 8-2 but Potsdam mounted a 5-0 run in the middle of the second half as Rice finished the game woth six goals and two assists.
Kalie Grant all three of her goals in the second half while Anette Rishe added two tallies and Ashley Anderson added a single marker. Jenny Tardelli stopped seven in the win for Potsdam.
Elena Beideck scored three times for the Red Storm while Katey Snyder and Shiela Decker combined for five saves.
