POTSDAM PLANNERS SEE POTENTIAL IN SUSTAINABLE ENERGY—The Potsdam Village Comprehensive Plan Committee agreed this week the concept of having electric vehicle charging stations, pressurized bio-gas, and other forms of environmentally-friendly fueling options could be a major drawing card for the Village in the not-too-distant future. The Committee is developing a document that will be the cornerstone land use and quality-of-life guide for the next decade.

NEW YORK STATE, HEARTWOOD FORESTLAND INK DEAL TO PRESERVE PRIVATE ADIRONDACK HUNTING CAMPS IN COLTON, CLIFTON, CLARE, HOPKINTON, SANTA CLARA, AND WAVERLY IN THE FORMER CHAMPION TRACT.  LONG-STANDING HUNTING CLUB LEASES TO CONTINUE.  AGREEMENT GIVES STATE BOTH “FOREVER WILD” LAND AND PUBLIC LAND ACCESS FOR HUNTING, FISHING, ETC.
