GRIFFO: SCHOOL AID GIVEBACK LOOKS TO BE 200-MILLION DOLLARS—State Senator Joe Griffo told 99 News in an interview earlier this week it is his sense that 50 million-dollars out of 250-million in aid designed for schools to compete with each other, was committed last budget year—so aid proposed to be given back to poor, rural schools will be a total of 200. Griffo represents the 47th Senate District, about half of St.Lawrence County.
