The Red Raiders pull off a Hammond like comeback against the Red Devils to advance to the Section Ten overall girls basketball final.
Down 15 points in the third quarter, Massena came back to make the overall semi a game thanks to three consecutive three pointers that helped close the gap to 29-26 after three.
In the fourth quarter, PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Alyssa Jacobs hit a lay up late o give the Raiders the lead at 39-38 and with under 20 seconds to go Jacobs connected again to give Massena the lead for good.
Jacobs led Massena with 16 points while Marissa Manley added 12 including seven points in the third quarter.
For Hammond, Alyssa Crosby tallied 23 points 11 rebounds and Courtney Bova added 11.
