17 PROPOSALS RECEIVED FOR PROPOSED POTSDAM HIGH SCHOOL CAPITAL PROJECT--Buildings and Grounds Committee Chair Christopher Cowen told the rest of the board Tuesday the response to a request for proposals by architectual and-or engineering firms for a proposed HVAC-masonry-update project for the aging high school building was "phenomenal". He says it's a sign of the current economy, "people are hungry and want the work," which puts the school district in an excellent position. The target cost of the project proposal will be about 13.8-million-dollars. If approved by the voters, it would be done in 2013-2014.
