Chateaugay Rallies To Take East Lead Over Madrid-Waddington |

A battle of undefeated teams saw the Bulldogs rally twice to prevail and keep their long league winning streak alive.
Madrid-Waddington started the game on a 5-0 run but the Bulldogs came through in the second with a 20-13 second quarter on the strength of Michael Boyea's 19 first half points.
The Jackets defense came up big not allowing the Bulldogs a point in the first four minutes of the second half and took the lead on a Alex Brock three pointer late in the quarter to give Madrid-Waddington a 41-39 lead.
Down four after three quarters, Chateaugay rallied to tie the game at 48-48 and regain the lead on a PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Erik Fleury lay up with 3:40 to go. The Bulldogs out scored the Jackets 8-5 in the final three minutes as Boyea would score 27 in the win going nine for 10 from the foul line. Fleury added 21 points and eight rebounds.
For Madrid-Waddington, Alex Brock hit five threes and scored 17 points, Greg Thompson notched 12 off the bench including eight in the second quarter. Colin O'Bryan added eleven.
