NEW PALTZ 70, POTSDAM 52

The Hawks' transition game translated to a road win at Jerry Welsh Gym over the Potsdam Bears.

Leading 18-10 midway through the first half, New Paltz ended the half on a 23-12 run as Maliqua Fisher scored 15 first half points in helping her team to a 19 point lead.

Potsdam came back to get within 12 but the Hawks pressure resulted in many transition points. Fisher finished with 24 points going 10 for 12 from the floor and pulled down eight rebounds. Alex McCullough added 13 for New Paltz.

For the Bears, they were led by Jessica Kouzan's 12 points. Katy Breidis and Hannah Kmeicinski added 11 apiece.
