The press and turnovers help the Larries claim their league opener at home over the Golden Bears.
The lead changed hands several times and was tied at 22-22 late in the first half. SLC went on a 7-3 run to end the half. PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Donovan Patraw sparked his team from beyond the arc with three 3-pointers and 14 first half points. Pat McGaw scored ten by the break for Canton.
The Larries continued to pressure the Bears and forced several turnovers which resulted in a 20-8 third quarter.
Patraw led the Larries with 15 points and Zane Ramsdell contributed a double double with 14 poins and 12 rebounds. Josh White added ten.
For Canton, Evan LaPoint scored 14 and ripped down ten boards. Pat McGaw scored 12.
