The Eagles set the tempo early and finish strong in a road victory at Burkman Gym.
Brockport stormed out to a 14 point lead in the first half, but the Saints mounted a rally to get within five by the break. SLU's Garrett Sharlow led all players with 11 by the half.
The Eagles went on a 10-2 run to go up by 16 with 4:22 to go on a Kyheem Green lay up. Down the stretch the Eagles used near flawless foul shooting to keep the Saints away. Brockport went 15 for 19 in the second half from the foul line.
Green and Donnell Jackson scored 17 points a piece. Gerald Williams hit four threes and 16 points. John Ivy added ten.
For SLU, Ralph Temgoua went a perfect 13 for 13 from the Charity stripe and scored 19 points. Shalrow hit three threes and managed 17. Janpeter Brase and Kyle Miller scored 12. Terry Parham added 11 points

The Saints go over .500 on the season wtih a win at home versus the Bears.
The Saints ran out to 32-14 lead before the Bears closed the gap to eight late in the first half. Iris Santori scored the last four points of the half including a buzzer beater two that expanded the SLU lead to 12 at halftime.
Katie Edgerton scored the first eight points of the half for St. Lawrence to help her team pull away. Edgerton scored 14 points in the win and Casey Capello hit three 3-pointers and tallied 11.
For Potsdam, Jessica Kouszan and Katy Breidis scored ten .
