POTSDAM MAN ARRESTED ON FELONY SEX CRIME, ASSAULT COUNTS--Potsdam Police went to Meadow East early Sunday morning to arrest 24-year-old Chunlei Xing on a count of misdemeanor criminal mischief alleging he broke down the door of a female's residence. Further investigation revealed Xing allegedly inflicted violent forcible relations upon the female. Xing was later charged with first degree rape, second degree burglary, and third degree criminal mischief, all felonies; and a misdemeanor assault charge. He was arraigned and committed on 10-thousand-dollars cash bail or 20-thousand-dollars bail bond.
