The Golden Knights advance to the Class D Quarterfinals with a narrow win over the Red Devils.
Before both teams were settled down, Lisbon struck first when Emily Dishaw followed through on an Alex Amo chance 46 seconds into the contest.
Hammond bounced back through the rest of the first half and kept the game close. The Red Devils tied the game early in second half when a sailing shot from Brianne Langtry fell under the crossbar and into the goal in the 44th minute.
A corner kick attempt led to the game winner as Hammond keeper Courtney Bova made the initial save but the ball slipped her hands and fell onto the foot of PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Shelby Dishaw who tucked home the goal in the midst of a scramble.
Lisbon's Jackie Sovie stopped 5 in the win and Bova halted 14 for the Red Devils. The Golden Knights next face second seeded Chateaugay on Saturday.
