VOTE TO FILL TWO POTSDAM CENTRAL SCHOOL JOB POSITIONS NOT UNANIMOUS--Board member Wade Davis said no Tuesday to the filling of a Latin teacher's post, and a school nurse's position--both in the high school. He said there were no cost-benefit analyses done on the positions, therefore he cannot vote in favor of filling them. Both people holding the positions left the school district for positions elsewhere. The Latin teacher, David O'Neil, is noteworthy for being the coach of the national champion Whiz Quiz team this past school year.
