CANCER ACTION FILES FORMAL ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST STATE HEALTH COMMISSIONER--The Colton-based activist group claims the department under the leadership of Dr. Nirav Shah has bowed to corporate political money by not publishing information that persistent organic pollutants--dioxin, benzene, etc. cause cancer. A similar complaint issued against St. Lawrence County Public Health was not acted upon, according to group President Donald Hassig.

OGDENSBURG-AREA BOYS CHARGED WITH FELONIES FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING WALLET--Troopers in Ogdensburg say a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old participated in taking the wallet--containing 'various credit cards' from a vehicle parked at Lisbon Beach. The incident was reported Monday morning; the arrests were made a few hours afterward. They were charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny; and released on court tickets.
