Section Ten senior baseball players played thier finally game at Clarkson on Tuesday.
Sargent's Savers coached by OFA's Mike Sargent and Lisbon's Jeff Houmiel plated six runs in the second inning en route to the victory. Jason Stepnoski (Malone) and Chad Rottier (Malone) began the inning with doubles as both scored to make the game 2-0. Taylor Kenyon (Hammond) drove in two with a double and Jeff King (Morristown) also doubled in a run to finish the second.
In the fourth, Matt Bressett (Norwood-Norfolk) drove in two runs with a double and Nolan Flecther (Lisbon) singled in two more in the fifth.
Bressett finished with 3 RBIs, Rottier 2 doubles and two runs scored, and Fletcher two singles. Six Savers pitchers combined for 11 strike outs.
For the Lions, coached by Norwood-Norfolk's Steve Lashomb and Gouverneur's Mike Bason, Mike Cavanaugh (Tupper Lake) singled twice while John Coleman (Potsdam) and Brian Ashline (Chateaugay) each produced singles.
