After five lead changes, the Larries earned the one that mattered in walk off fashion to advance to the Class C baseball title game.

PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Brett Mahoney drilled a one out double to left center driving home Jessi Greer from second to finsh off a three run rally.   

SLC jumped out 2-1 after one only to see the Jackets score four in the second inning as Jacob Mayette cleared the bases with a double to break a 2-2 tie. Down 5-3 in the third, the Larries scored three to regain the lead as Mark Peets and SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Devon Euto reached and scored, plus Tyler Smith doiubled in the go ahead run.

M-W came out with another three run rally in the fifth as Mayette tripled in Branden Perrine and scored on a wild pitch. Greg Thompson walked and scored on a Dale Vallance groud out which gave the Jackets an 8-6.

Euto came on in relief of Quinn Patraw and at one point struck out six straight batters in picking up the win. Patraw and Derek LaBaff both singled in runs in the sixth to tie the game at 8-8 as in the seventh, Smith singled off the glove of pitcher Thompson, was pinch run for by Greer, leading up to Mahoney's big hit.

Mahoney finished 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs, Dakota Vallance doubled twice and tripled, Smith went 3 for 3 with a double, and Quinn Patraw doubled and singled.

For Madrid-Waddington, Branden Perrine scored three runs and Alex Brock singled twice.
