The Green Demons advance to the sectional semis with a sold pitching performance over the Panthers.
PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Logan Brabaw struck out ten and helped his own cause with two RBis. Brad Weller scored on a throwing error to third and Dylan Amo scored on a gournd out to give the Demons a 2-0 lead after three. Two more runs were plated in the fourth on a Brabaw sac fly to left and an RBI double by SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Logan Allen.
The Panthers best chance to rally came in the sixth starting the inning with bases loaded and no one out but only managed one run. Hermon-Dekalb made them pay with three more runs in the bottom of the sixth as Amo drove in two wih a single.
For the Panthers, Tyler Gallagher siongled twice, Zakc Newton produced an RBI, and Mike Burns struck out five and single in the loss.
