On the last day of the regular season, the Green Demons earn a home playoff game winning in the final at bat against the the Red Devils.
PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Dylan Amo sent a ground ball to second as it was booted and scoring Trevor Gray for the game winning run.
Hammond bult a 5-0 lead in the top of the first as the first two batters reached and scored with the big bloe coming off the bat of Dean Hill who cleared the bases with a double. Hermon-Dekalb responded with three in the bottom of the inning as Amo, Caulen Allen, and Logan Aallen all reached and scored.
A passed ball in the fourth cut the Hammond lead to one and a bases loaded hit by pitch on Cameron Hance tied the game in the fifth. Dylan Amo finshed 3 for 3 with a douvble as SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Caulen Allen pitched one inning of scoreless ball to earn the win in relief.
For Hammond, Tommy Hollister and Colin Martin singled in runs.
