WADDINGTON TRAILING IN W-F-N CONTEST, BUT GAINS OVER 900 VOTES IN LESS THAN THREE HOURS--The community on the St.Lawrence River was behind Roscoe, NY in the World Fishing Network "Ultimate Fishing Town" competition by over a thousand votes at 6:00 sign-on time this morning...but saw a massive gain. At the time of this update, 8:35am, Waddington was at 122,609 votes to Roscoe's 122,716. The two towns are competing for online votes to win the honor of the Ultimate Fishing Town in the USA, and the 25-thousand dollar prize that goes with it. To cast your vote online, get on the web site http://www.wfnfishingtown.com. The deadline is May 31st, with the winner announced June 6th.
