The Flyers tune up for the up coming playoffs with a sold road win in Odgensburg.
A day after losing in a Sunday Matinee at home, Norwood-Norfolk responded with a complete game two hitter hurled by PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Alex Ploof, who also struck out five in the win.
All the runs the Flyers needed were scored in the first two innings. Drew Stone walked to lead off the game and scored on a Jordan Lashomb single. SUBWAY SUB OF THE GAME Jeremy Waite singled in Lashomb to build a 2-0 lead.
Two more were scored in the second as Tom Fiacco scored on a passed ball and Matt Bresett was walked with the bases loaded.
OFA received singles from Eric Barr and Cavan LaRose plu OWne Luckie struck out three and scattered four in the loss.
