KARDASH SELECTED COLTON-PIERREPONT SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT FINALIST--The Board of Education announced Tuesday Joseph Kardash was chosen as the top candidate to replace Superintendent Martin Bregg, who will retire at the end of the school year. Kardash has a background in the business world as well as education; he has a management degree from Marist and worked for IBM at one time. He is also a certified school district finance officer. Kardash is expected to assume the Superintendent's post July 1st. He is currently Athletic Director and Computer Coordinator for the school district. Kardash won the spot over two other finalists...Michael Worden from Heuvelton Central, and Mark White from Hermon-Dekalb.
