POTSDAM TRUSTEES, CONSULTANT WANT INPUT ON REVITALIZATION PLAN--The Board has invited the public to attend a meeting tonight at 7 in the Civic Center Community Room to express their views on the Downtown Waterfront Revitalization Plan document, now in its early development stages.

BOMBAY ACCIDENT VICTIM CONDITION IMPROVES--Kayla Martin of Massena is now listed in 'serious' condition, up from 'critical' at Fletcher-Allen in Burlington.  Martin received life-threatening injuries last Thursday when the vehicle she was operating struck a utility pole and flipped off Franklin County Route 4.

OGDENSBURG ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT IN CUSTODY--26-year-old Michael Wells is expected to be arraigned before a city judge later this morning on a felony count of First Degree Robbery, alleging he entered the Twin Bridges Convenience Mart and Deli on West Main Street late Saturday night wearing a Halloween mask, brandishing what appeared to be a handgun. Wells made off with cash and took off on foot; State Police and a Sheriff's canine helped track Wells down.

ATTORNEY GENERAL PROBING WEST DAM HYDRO PROJECT--The Courier-Observer got confirmation from the State Attroney General's Office it is following up on a complaint filed by Main Street resident Richard Hutchinson that the Village failed to get a performance bond from Canadian Turbine, and failed to properly investigate owner Richard Kuiper. The Village spent over a million dollars and failed to receive parts for the project until it made a deal more than two years later to pay off suppliers, directly instead of waiting for the contractor to be paid for other jobs.

MASSENA MAN TO DO TIME FOR COMPUTER TEEN SEX CRIME--Marc Cappione, 44, is expected to receive 4 years in state prison April 15th for his guilty plea he tried to lure underage girls over the internet to have sexual rendez-vous with him. He thought he was chatting with teen girls, but in fact they were undercover investigators.
