James Assinewai was airlifted from Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone to Fletcher-Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. Elianne Assinewai was charged with first degree assault, arraigned and jailed on 100-thousand dollars cash bail without bond. FRANKLIN COUNTY LEGISLATOR SUGGESTS ONE GRADE OF GAS TO LOWER COST--Paul Maroun, who represents nearby Tupper Lake and Santa Clara, has written President Obama with an idea to eliminate mid-grade and high-grade unleaded at the pump, at least temporarily to reduce consumer prices. He says Obama should also order refineries to increase capacity and release strategic oil reserves.
